I love this gallery. The situation is great with some of the best views of the fishing beach. Staff are always helpful and polite and the displays varied and stimulating. Also a pleasant care with excellent outlook.
Excellent. Attended Christmas evening for members and guests. Interesting and amusing talk friendly atmosphere and a pleasure to be in gallery again. So good to have such a wonderful facility in the town.
The Jerwood has good spaces and adds to the good reasons for visiting Hastings. However, it is not very large and its walls are not at all crowded, and so much of its interest rests on whatever special exhibitions are in - so it's worth checking the website.
Great location for a drink and a browse. Would really recommend joining if you are local. Discount in cafe bar.
Fantastic building. Love the sense of space and wonderfully framed views from the windows. The art was quite interesting but also quite missable. The best part was the cafe which provides excellent service and great coffee. Thought the range of food was a bit limited but very good quality.
