This time around /our 3rd season camping here, we have been let down by poor management. In fact there is no manager on site at all, so staff i just doing what they thing is right, without anyone checking and managing them. Toilets at tent pitch field had poo smeared on cubicle walls for 4 days not cleaned. Showers only with push knob dangerously hot, which caused huge distress to all smaller children! On final day after packing, we went to swimming pool with kids and planned to eat lunch after swim, before jurney home. I have clearly asked staff at pool downstairs, whether we can have later lunch at restaurant upstairs. I was told yes, after 2pm. However, after 2pm we found restaurant closed for special event, no lunch for us!When I have asked receptionist, how to contact mamagers/owners with complaint, I was denied this information. Instead Ive heard excuses like "if no one tels us about issues, we cannot deal with them". I guess, next time we'll look fo another camp sites, poss change location. In Hastings town, there is very limited choice of food in restaurants and quality is not great.

Nice campsite clean and tidy

Great location. Big groups visit for the weekend and are very noisy singing chatting and laughing until the early hours. No security round late at night. Some of the big group had pitched incorrectly which forced everyone to move half a pitch down and couse we had pitched correctly we lost half our pitch and had a caravan right next to us, within 1 meter. The staff dont seem botherd. Also there doesnt seem to be enough hook ups and there was an argument whos was whos. We were correctly pitched and using the correct hookup but were bullied into using more extention leads and had to park my car somewhere else through no fault of my own. This is the second time we have fell out with other people on this site. Is it just the rude people from the south East of England or is it the site wardens or management not enforcing rules.I wouldnt go back to this site if there was annother campsite in walking distance from hastings its just the convenience that makes me visit again.

Can't wait to go back there!!

Nice and well maintained campsite on a good location. Nicest spots may not have electricity though. Also, our facilities block was very clean but getting old with toilets and washing facilities in the same area.
