I am very upset with the comments of the engineer who came to fit a smoke alarm. I am going through the worst year of my life to date. I received a letter from the landlord, the contents of which are very upsetting to me. The engineer told the landlord that my flat was full of junk that should be thrown out. My landlord now wants to inspect the property because of the concerns of the engineer? I'd like to know if passing judgement on a personal level and reporting to the landlord is normal practice? This has left me very upset and I would like to know why this information by an electrician to the landlord has led to a rude letter containing personal information as per the discussion between the two. Also the landlord states that the engineer was obstructed by me from doing his job? I made him feel uncomfortable? How? I told him that we had to go out and he couldn't stay for two hours, the landlord told us that the job description was to fit a smoke alarm. I am seeking a valid reason from this company as to why this has happened. Thank you
