Really impressed to see a library in Hastings when so many other councils are shutting them down due to cut backs.This is a lovely building and libraries build a great sense of community as some people do not actually have nor understand the Internet.So really good to see and congratulations to Hastings Council for doing this and creating such a nice space.
Lots of books, friendly staff, nice layout - it's great. The kid's library is particularly nice with a seaside theme and lots of boats/cubbyholes for them to sit in while reading.
A beautiful new library with a great selection of books particularly in the childrens section. Its a beautifully restored building, but why have they laid carpet tiles? They should have just used the lino that is in the entrance area throughout the building. I noticed that there were stains already in the childrens library. Otherwise a real asset to Hastings!
Excellent facility. I was very impressed with it. It is a beautiful environment. The renovation has been sensitively undertaken.
A lot of public money spent but worth every penny in my opinion. Open, bright and well stocked. Excellent access. More computers than PC World! Very good opportunities for study or courses. Helpful, cheerful staff. Overall I enjoyed my visit.
