A really cute, slightly chaotic (in a quirky and charming way) place. Interesting, local food served in a bit rustic style. We had two dishes with local smoked haddock (one served in a ramekin with cheese sauce and other with curry rice and yoghurt), both really nice, however the latter needed more seasoning. Coffee was good, staff very friendly. Unfortunately they dont take cards, but theres an cash machine in a grocery next door. Nicely decorated and very cosy.

My first visit which means I always start with a coffee and go from there. Cappuccinos are one shot so I asked for an extra shot as I generally find coffees are never strong enough for me (I like to taste my coffee). Service was polite and prompt but alas the coffee was presented to me in what I can only describe as a large expresso cup and quite possibly the smallest cappuccino I've ever been served. Even in this size it wasn't particularly strong or hot for that matter and I could have despatched it in one gulp had I been inclined to. A real shame as the customer sitting next to me had just been served her food which looked very nice. If the coffee had been better I would have definitely ordered lunch. Not this time.

Been going to Petit Fi now every now and then since it opened and I have never been let down on quality, service and ambience.I cant say enough good things about this place, whether youre local or just visiting Hastings, this place is a must.Theyre menu alters slightly but the classics remain (breakfast is always great and the coffee is beautiful which is the most important part). Every meal is made to order and you get a real sense of home cooked food. The staff are always incredibly friendly and hospitable but never overbearing or intrusive. Also well behaved dogs are welcome! Extra brownie points from me!

Just the best coffee and cakes We left it too late - cafs seem to close in the early evening and we wanted a coffee and cake after walking in the country park. But everyone pointed at Petit Fi. They made us very welcome. The cakes look home made - there were two gluten-free and two 'ordinary' - although there's nothing ordinary about this caf. When we looked more carefully, we both selected gluten-free - not our intention but they are really good!A lovely place and so glad we found it

Lovely cosy cafe and friendly staff. The vegan food was very delicious. Highly recommend.
