excellent new layout, also like to add that the interior design is something I do for a living, upcycled and repurposed materials, Looks lovely.

A mess. Plastic glasses, untidy, hard to tell punters from bar staff, a live band playing thrash metal you'd blow yer brains out too and generally not a pleasant experience. Coming from someone who likes their punk and indie, live bands and a beer, that's saying something. Maybe I picks a bad night and I will try it again to make sure but wasn't my cuppa tonight. Remember the old days of the Golden Cross and even the more recent ones of Flairs and it was disappointing.
Great place, great choice of drinks and cocktails /shots. Friendly atmosphere and staff, you can play boardgames and chess or pool, it's great.
Very nice pub. Could spend all afternoon here. Good drinks, good music, and a pool table. Really nice atmosphere even when there isn't many people about. Got some funky decorations too including what appears to be a taxidermied ferret wearing a top hat! Right next to the station so easy transport links around the area. Short walk into the centre of town too.
