Nice pub, beautiful old building, good atmosphere. The food is always brilliant. Lunchtime at the weekend always busy, make sure you book your table in advance. Sunday evening it was plenty free table. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Great place to visit, lovely food and a nice price, nice big fire down stairs. Staff friendly and helpful. Dogs welcomed. Will come again when in Hastings.

Whether for a drink or to eat, this place just makes a visit to the seaside that much more enjoyable. I would prefer a genuine slow cooked lamb shank as opposed to paying nearly 11 for a frozen microwavable one. You'd expect that in a family restaurant chain but not here. Good choice for veggies though.
A place for a good Sunday lunch take an appetite as the portions are plateful. Might be wise to book ahead as it gets busy and no wonder after our visit it's a popular haunt for many. Well worth looking out for in the old town.
