this little place tucked away in Hastings old town gives a comfy small venue feel. the menu consisting of an entirely gluten free menu means it's an easy choice with anyone with gluten allergies. the menu gives a varied aray of choice and all food that arrived was piping hot. a massive selection of wines and drinks are available and staff were friendly and attentive to the customers. price was reasonable for what you got and quality of food was good.
We had a great time there as everything was gluten free and tasty. The portion of main courses were really big. We were struggled to finished it. The only downside was my fish was not completely cooked and can tasted that it was not quite so fresh. Everything else was good, specially the desert! The fish and chips was good too.
Excellent friendly place. One of the first questions they asked was whether we had any food intolerances, good to see this is a priority. The garlic mushrooms starter was delicious, not what I expected, but much better. Considered having it for dessert as well! Would definitely recommend, and will be visiting again.
Absolutely delightful place to eat, with lovely food (locally sourced) and local ales as well as the usual selection. We went for a birthday celebration, and after initially walking past because we couldn't see fish on the menu, spotted that they have so much fish it's on a separate board! Plumped for the turbot which we've never had before, after discussing its merits with the owner (who also runs with spaniels - a good sign), and because we don't typically eat a lot each, and they had just one turbot but a big one, they made a meal for two at a very good price.Saxon pale ale for me (tastes just like a commercial lager only with some subtle fragrances which is why I don't like the commercial beers so much), an excellent accompaniment.Word of warning - the signage to get you in is not so good. Don't walk by, it's superb and really worth a visit!
Me and my Fiance are here on holiday and we decided to eat at Radley's last night after finding it online. The building itself is so interesting, really lovely atmosphere! We had a bit of a wait but we were warned about it first and we chose to wait.As for the food...well well well worth waiting for! We had the marinated pork belly with mash, green veg and cider gravy. The presentation was so cute! It looked amazing and tasted even better! Its safe to say this was the best meal out we've had in a while. The pork was well cooked, really tasty and well seasoned. The service was so polite and friendly. The server had good knowledge of the food and drinks available and was able to tell us anything we asked.I would highly recommend that if you are in or around Hastings come and eat here! You will enjoy a delicious meal in a lovely atmosphere.Thank you Radley's!
